Night cruises

Night cruises are a great way to see the Kinabatangan river from a different perspective and animals commonly encountered on night cruises include saltwater crocodiles (both juveniles & adults), various species of owls and sleeping birds such as kingfishers. Other surprises await though and guests have seen anything from a clouded leopard to pygmy elephants, it really just depends on luck!

Aside from the wildlife, night cruises offer a breath of fresh air after dinner, allowing you to get out on the river and enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings with few other boat encounters.

The departure time for night cruises is usually 8pm however please refer to your guide or reception for further information.

​A minimum of 2 people is required for the night cruise to depart and the cost is RM100 per person. Night cruises can be booked during your stay at reception, a minimum of 2 hours notice is required. 

Since night cruises are weather dependent, we recommend booking once you arrive at the lodge but not waiting until your last night or you may end up missing it all together!
